Lots of news, good and bad....
Good News:
HSBC have kindly donated £400
A raffle raised £800 with the help of my parents. Cannon Gym and Pizza Express in Newbury kindly donated prizes to the event.
I estimate to have fundraised just under £1500 with the help of everyone so far, only £3500 to go....
Bad News:
I've injured my left knee which means I've had to cut back on my training, this means it is unlikely that I'll be fit for the Windsor half Marathon at the end of the month. This is really disappointing and does add more pressure on myself for getting prepared for the run in April next year.

For anyone using Mozilla Firefox as your web browser, the pages appear to lose their contents bar. My advice is to use Internet Explorer for the time being until I can rectify the problem. I'm sure most of you will be using Internet Explorer anyway.

I've signed myself up for the British10KLondon Run as a good starting point for my training. It's on the 3rd July 2005, see http://www.thebritish10klondon.co.uk/ for details.
p.s. the run went well, I finished it in a respectable 43 mins

I've signed myself up for the Windsor Half Marathon as a team with my friend John. Our team is called 'Team MC' and there is talk of us doing the run in 'Hammer Pants' and 'can't touch this' blurting out from one of the ghetto blasters we'll be carrying. The race should be great as it goes through Windsor's Great Park which includes Windsor Castle and is on the 25th September 2005. See http://www.runwindsor.com/index.htm for details.

A few teething problems with the web pages which meant I had to break the hyperlinks from the heading logos, if anyone spots anything please tell me. I'll try and sort these problems out when I first find out how to and secondly when I find the time to do it!
